THIS IS A PORTABLE UNIT YOU TAKE AROUND WITH YOU. IT HAS AN AC ADAPTER TO PLUG IT IN. IT HAS HEADPHONES THAT HAVE RED AND BLUE JACKS. WE TRIED IT OUT AND THE ONLY THING I NOTICED IS, IT STARTS OUT AT 250 HZ AND THEN 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000 AND THEN IT IS BLANK FOR 2 SPOTS. I BELIEVE THE LAST SPOT, THE NUMBERS MAY HAVE COME OFF, I AM NOT SURE. OR MAYBE THERE IS NOTHING THERE. WE TRIED IT ALL OUT AND TESTED IT. I CHANGED THE DB AND HERTZ AND THE SOUND LEVELS. IT COMES WITH THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, THE BOOK IS KIND OF WARN. IT ALSO COMES WITH SOME AUDIOGRAM CARDS.
