(Red) Makerbot Replicator 1 & 2 Extruder Upgrade, Thingomatic w/MK7 Extruder - Delrin Plunger Replacement: I had real problems using the delrin plunger system so I purchased a spring loaded extruder upgrade but still had a few problems with not having enough pressure from the spring to keep the plastic against the drive gear (slippage). I redesigned a similar upgrade and use a heavier and stiffer spring then what I originally was using.  I have great results using this now and hope to help a few frustrated friends! ***This design works perfectly for the Makerbot Replicator 2 and later versions since the arm clears the top end of the stepper motor (see photos). Check out a video of the item for sale at work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osV9YTN_vQg The item kit contains: The Back Plate The Swing Arm 20mm screw - for the pivot joint of the swing arm 4.75mm OD aluminum bushing - for pivot joint of the swing arm (2) M3 screws New Stainless Steel Ball Bearing 1 washers per extruder upgrade kit  New Compression Spring 30 day guarantee.  If broken, please send back and I will happily replace.
