Take your Replicator 2X printer to the next level! We all know how warped the Makerbot 2X stock cast plate is and frustrating it can be to get a good print off of it.    This CNC machined, aluminum build plate upgrade replaces the warped stock cast build plate, improving the quality and consistency of your Makerbot 2X prints! Cut to exact tolerance and thickness, there is no need to modify your machine as this is a snap to install!    The top surface is custom ground to +/- .0004 of inch flatness and parallelism. The bottom side of the plate is then CNC to exact specs, and then hard anodized to  make it super durable, unlike the cheap consumer-grade anodizing that just won’t hold up.    We all know that the stock cast plate can be warped as much as 0.040 inch.  Why add unnecessary inaccuracy to your prints!   Look at the other “upgrade” build plates out there and they’re described with the words “almost, nearly the same, should not warp, requires mods, printed adapter, fits snugly (until the tabs break) or has glued on parts.  Plus it’s USA made with aircraft quality USA aluminum!
