One of the world's best 3D Resin Printer and newest DLP model on the market, the MakeX M-One is perfect for jewelry marking and precision 3D Printing. The MakeX M-One 3D Printer is a Resin printer which is optimized for printing small, fine detailed models capable of acting as a re-printable template for Lost Wax Molding. Unlink other 3D printers (FDM) which uses a layering additive method to print solid plastic designs, a DLP style 3D Printer uses it's projector to light up an entire layer of light sensitive resin to build up the design. This method makes DLP very fast since an entire layer can be built at once, with a suggested speed of 2.5 cm (1 inch) per hour. The MakeX M-One has just recently come off a very successful Kickstarter campaign and now into full production. One of the biggest problems for DLP printers is the high cost and/or proprietary designs of it's light sensitive resin, the M-One solves this problem by being compatible with almost all brands. The MakeX M-One recommends using Makerjuice Labs resin which price as low as $60 per liter. We are now offering free shipping to Canada and the continental US! We can also ship worldwide. SLA is using a laser to cure the resin while DLP is using a DLP projector. 2. SLA is usually cheaper, compared to the cost of a projector, but it has a couple of shortcomings: 3. SLA is slower as it cures dot by dot. So for a single layer the laser beam has to travel all over the part to solidify the resin. DLP projects light in a shot so cures the whole slice at the same time. This also makes an advantage for DLP. It has the same speed for one single object and for a crowded VAT (where you place objects). 4. Typical SLA laser spot diameter is 250 to 300 microns providing low XY resolution. DLP are getting easily to 50 to 100 microns.
