Runs perfectly forward & reverse, hammer or straight drill. Variable speed is smooth. Average wear for a used tool. No side handle included. Case is a bit worn and scuffed, but fully intact. Had this tool for about four years and it never disappoints. It is a tad smaller and lighter than most hammer drills which can often be a blessing in smaller spaces. I'm getting along in years and don't do as much as I used to, so I'm beginning to divest of all but my "essential" tools. You won't be disappointed with this one. U.S. buyers only please!
