24V Actuator for Radiant Heating Manifolds (Steel or Brass)         Compatibility note: These actuators are only guaranteed to work with and warrantied for PEX radiant heating manifolds we sell. Features:Made in Germany TUV and CE compliant Easy to install High quality components Technical Specifications:Voltage: 24V; Watts: 2W; Amps: 0.12A; Operating Temperature: 32°F - 140°F; Normally Closed; 2-Wires; Wire Length: 40". Applications: Manifold actuator is essentially a zone valve, designed to replace a manual balancing valve on the manifold. In conjunction with a 24V zone valve control (such as Taco ZVC series) and any 24V thermostat(s) (such as Honeywell), manifold actuators allow to separate the manifold into "zones" (rooms) and to control the temperature in the room with radiant floors through the thermostat. Both Taco ZVC's and Honeywell thermostats are available in our store. Example: A system with 8-branch radiant manifold has (1) branch dedicated to bathroom, (3) branches for kitchen and (4) for bedroom, the system would require (8) actuators (for each branch on the return manifold), (3) 24V thermostats (one for each room) and (1) Taco ZVC403 controller. Installation: Installation is easy: Simply unscrew the plastic manual balancing from the manifold, screw on the O-ring which comes with the actuator and snap on the actuator. Wiring is done as per zone controller manufacturer's manual (if using Taco, see ZVC manual).
