Middle sheet 5. Power keeper 6. Spreader 7. Tamping tool Quick Start Guide 1. Take the bottom sheet, place it on a clean, dry surface, and fix the encapsulation sheet onto it. 2. Pour capsule bodies into the encapsulation sheet, and gently shake the bodies into the holes. Remember to cover the gap in the wall of the encapsulation sheet with one hand to avoid spilling the bodies. 3. Pour off excess bodies. If there are any bodies upside down in the holes, manually pour them out and turn them over. 4. Remove the encapsulation sheet and put the filled body sheet carefully to one side. 5. Place the powder guard to the body sheet. 6. Pour a scoop of powder onto the body sheet and use the spreader to fill the bodies. 7. If the bodies are not full, use the tamping tool to compress the fillings and repeat the previous filling procedure. 8. Now take the cap sheet, and fix the encapsulation sheet onto it. 9. Pour capsule caps into the encapsulation sheet, and shake as before to fill the holes. Remember to cover the gap in the wall of the encapsulation sheet with one hand to avoid spilling the caps. 10. Pour off the excess caps. If there are any caps upside down in the holes, manually pour them out and turn them over. 11. Place the middle sheet onto the cap sheet to ensure all the capsule caps are fixed firmly. Take note that the flute-design side of the middle sheet must face outward, or in other words, take note that the marginally larger hole diameter of the middle sheet must face to the cap sheet. 12. Turn the cap sheet and middle sheet over, and fix them onto the body sheet. 13. Place both hands on the top, and push downwards with equal pressure for several times. Make sure that the caps and bodies are well matched to each other before pressing down directly. 14. Turn the whole set over, place both hands on it, and push downwards to lock the capsules. 15. Open the cap sheet, and check whether all the capsules are completely locked. The capsules are not completely locked if there are some capsules standing higher than others on the middle sheet. You have to fix the cap sheet back onto the middle sheet and push downwards for another several times until all the capsules are completely locked. 16. To the finish, lift off and turn over the middle sheet to release the filled capsules. Maintenance To keep your machine in the best working condition, follow these maintenance tips. Cleaning Tools & Conditions: Clean the machine with nylon brush or air pump in room-temperature water. Never clean the machine in hot water or sink it in corrosive liquid like alcohol, etc. for the whole night; Never clean the machine with heating appliance like air heater, microwave oven, oven, etc. Cleaning Steps: • Wipe off powders adhered to the tamper pins. • Wipe off powders adhered to the bottom side of the encapsulation sheet. • Dismantle the bottom sheet by unscrewing the screws at the very bottom, and clean the interlayer as well as the wall of holes. If your machine is of CN-50CL type, you can directly unscrew the nuts on the top to take off the top bottom sheet, and clean all the powder contact parts. • Wipe off powders adhered to the middle sheet. • Wipe off powders adhered to the cap sheet. • Use a clean cloth to wipe off powders remained on the surface of all the sheets. • Dry the parts with a cold air blower or in the air, if cleaned in water. Notes: Regular and proper cleaning can ensure a smooth operation of the capsule filler and can extend its shelf life by 60-90%. It is suggested that you clean the machine at the end of the day or shift no matter whether it is going to be used for the same or different type of supplement next day. You’d better not leave the machine with powders in it overnight, as some powders may dry, harden or get sticky, requiring extensive manual cleaning of each hole to resume filling, or impacting the next filling process due to the accumulated powders.
