( see below for size of tubes held ) The rotatory mixer is designed to mix samples by rotating the samples via a platform with a fully adjustable 180 degree through a single axis adjuster. The mixers generate two types of mixing actions: 1.) The up-to-down action: when samples place along the radius direction of the sample tray, i.e. parallel to the platform, the mixers perform up-to-down mixing action; 2.) The rolling action: when the samples place against the radius of the sample tray, i.e. perpendicular to the platform, the mixer perform a rolling effect on the samples. To prevent the fall off of the samples during rotation, the head of the rotator can be adjusted to any angle. The RM-2 can be used for biological samples which need a gentle mixing action to help avoid the disruption of the cells, such as blood samples etc. The mixers can be operated in environment with temperature 4 – 60 degree The RM-2 is microprocessor controlled , providing a digital timer with up to 9 hours timer settings and speed control in 1rpm increment up to 40rpm. The RM-2 is supplied either with : 1. RM-00 : Micro-tube holder, suits 10mm to 11.5mm diameter tubes 2. RM-01: Test tube holder, suits 9mm to 20mm diameter tubes 3.
