I have this Market Forge Sterilmatic, model STM-E for sale in excellent working condition. It was acquired from a very reputable hospital in the Chicagoland area in perfect working order. This unit was used in an offsite treatment facility outside the main hospital and when a renovation was completed, the unit was replaced with a newer unit of the exact same model. (Let me explain clearly that the only reason this unit was replaced with a newer one is the fact that the hospital had a budget to spend and if the money was not spent then the budget would be reduced the following year - therefore, this unit was replaced for no other reason than to ensure continued increases for expenses. Additionally, these units have hardly changed at all over the last 20 years and the brand new 2014 model hardly varies at all from this unit, which is a 1994 model) This sterilizer has been maintained and taken care of very well and only used in a professional environment. It has been in climate controlled storage and is in excellent condition. (there is a small ding in the top casing near the front side which is visible from the overhead image - it does not affect the functionality of the unit whatsover..) I simply do not have the room to store it anymore because I'm using the space to complete the restoration of a classic car and so it must go ASAP. Market Forge Sterilmatics are of the highest quality, built to last and are tough. These things hold their value quite well and a quick internet or eBay search makes it quite clear that brand new models and even older refurbished models range in price anywhere from $3,500 to $12,000. (This exact same model brand new from the manufacturer is $11,448 right now!!) Additionally, the brand new models are practically indistinguishable from the older ones, which says something about the quality and effeciency of the design - this is a top of the line unit. Due to my timeframe for clearing enough space to get my car in here, I'm forced to get rid of this unit ASAP, and by that I mean within the next few days at the very most it HAS TO GO. This is a hugely discounted price, I practically guarantee you will not find one cheaper. It would be perfect for someone that plans to use the unit but it would also be an excellent investment to make a few thousand dollars for someone who has the space to keep it and the time to sell it. It is heavy! I'd prefer local pickup to save the hassle on shipping because from what I see, you're looking at about $500 to ship domestically. I'm 45 minutes west of downtown chicago and would welcome pickup at my place and would even offer free delivery in the Chicagoland area. Even if you want it and need to pay to have it shipped, you're still getting a phenomenal deal that you're simply not going to find anywhere else. Hopefully I can find someone who sees the huge value in this offer and simultaneously free up the much needed space. It's a win/win situation.
