The self adhesive mesh holds the drywall patch to the surface during repair. For use on drywall or plaster walls, ceilings and other flat surfaces. Cut away loose debris and sand any remaining rough edges. 2. Remove liner and apply patch to cleaned surface, centering the aluminum plate over the hole. Press self adhesive mesh to the surface. 3. Apply spackling or joint compound over the patch, feathering edges out to surrounding area. Allow material to dry. 4. Sand area lightly with a drywall sponge, then apply a thin second coat and let dry. Sand to a smooth finish.
