This digital hand-held temperature instrumentation for molten metal comes in different variations including Type S, R, and K degrees F or C. A complete wired 48" steel lance bent at a 45В° angle, battery charger, ACLASS accredited calibration certificate, and operation manual are included with every pyrometer purchase. We also offer a 1-year parts and labor warranty for every pyrometer. The PPF2 immersion pyrometer is a highly practical and portable equipment that accurately measures temperature in any part of the process. The pyrometer's aluminum housing and steel lance effectively protect the electronic parts from aggressive work conditions and the foundry environment. Equipped with NIMH batteries that are rechargeable and eco-friendly, the PPF2 features a standby mode, quick charge batteries, and an audible alarm when measurement is complete. Other lance lengths are also available upon request, including 36", 60", 72", 96", and 120" straight or with a 45В° bend 12" from the tip. With a measurement range of Type 'R/S' 1470-3200В°F and Type 'K' 570-2380В°F, this pyrometer is available in degrees C or F and works with all MATRIX SENSORS thermocouples and other manufacturer's models. The PPF2 boasts an accuracy of 0.3% of span and the last read temperature is permanently stored in the E2PROM memory, ensuring data integrity.
