This is a Maxant 20-Frame Radial honey extractor. It is stainless steel and runs on 110 power. It takes 20 shallow, medium, or deep super frames. The inside surface of the drum is clean and corrosion free. The basket, which is cast iron and steel, has very minimal corrosion which has been coated with a food grade epoxy. This extractor is in excellent working condition (i plugged it in and ran it and it runs smooth and strong). The drivebelt is in great condition and can be replaced at any auto parts store. It comes installed with a food grade plastic switch valve for filling honey jars. I personally scrubbed the inside of the drum with dish soap and water, rinsed thoroughly, and air dried. Then I lubed the bearings with a food grade lube. *** Stand not included. *** All food-contact parts, EXCEPT the stainless tank, have been finished with two coats of Cam Coat food-grade epoxy (pictured) and it came out really nice. I have listed the item as "pickup only", which means the winner bidder can pick up the extractor in Pasadena CA.
