Up for sale is an Adafruit breakout board (product detail) but with the Type S thermocouple chip - not the type K. I replaced the type K chip that came from Adafruit. I tested this module with a Raspberry Pi. I also developed polymonials for "recalibration" reading the temperature from the module and made posts about it to the Adafruit Forum (see this thread ). Mail me any questions. I no longer need these and hope someone out there can benefit from my painstaking effort to get a type S TC reader for a RasPi or Arduino. I made three of these.
