I bought this like a lot of things, some kind of plan, its in my way now, and is pretty valuable .I do not recall any real damage,, the bottom of the tub is swelled upwards a bit . Most washer men I know take their washers all apart, and redo them. I would think some one would try to pull this down some how, I will leave that to the buyer. I need to find the serial number again, but think I looked it up once, and it is mid teens.I wonder if some one had redone it some time back, the Maytag script may be newer, but it would be some time back, one of you Maytag guys would know, I do not. The Washing Machine Data Base says the cast iron wringer is from the early 20 S . I can deliver this to LeSuer, or ship via Fastenal, but they do not ship to deliver to Californi. The last pallet I did went to Detroit , for around $125. Some of Charliebrowns rules! If you read this, we won't have so many troubles. If item selling is a casting, all castings require finishing in a machine shop type setting, and may or may not require grinding, filing, and buffing. . I do not have a shop open to the public. I am not a retail or wholesale business. If item selling is a casting,( if it is not , disregard), all castings are guaranteed against sever defects, they are castings, so some times there are some rough areas, I guarantee that things will machine, and be usable. Just email, and return or send a picture of any defective casting for a replacement. ( When item selling is a casting) , I like to relist the things that sell, so the items selling as relisted castings, usually is not the item you receive but is a facsimile, and as always, guaranteed. . I like to ship things for costs. It also costs to box things, such as tape, and gas to town, , and ebay now charges me final value fee's on the shipping , plus pay pal, I do loose money on shipping. I like to pad the weight of a box ,so to cover the extra,(hidden to me) charges, so you will be paying more for shipping than the label states. I do not like to loose money on shipping. Buyers must pay all costs related to shipping, including at times expensive boxes and packing, tape and some times fuel and ebay final value fees. Please also note, I can not always message from my computer, if you ask a question late in the game, one needs to send me an email address, or a phone number if you want an answer. Also please note after a listing has ended, and one asks a question from that item still in their watch list, I can not see what the item is, ebay erases that information, so please state item by name, not " this part", as I can not see any part. QUESTIONS FROM OTHER Friendly ebay dealers helping, some times it is nice if I really state some thing off, to help me,but I really just do not want any catechetical questioning to help my sales, like the dealer with 2,000 sales feed backs, and no buys, and did not even try to buy my item, asking me if that was a blade of grass, or a crack. I may seam silly to a lot of ebay buyers to say this, but this is a thing that repeatedly happens, thanks for the help, but no thanks, please do not ask me a question if you are not going to bid, I do not have time. Most buyers can judge for their selves. Blocked bidders. I have had about 15 people that just seamed to think I was Sears, and that I just did something wrong to them, so they left me 1 stars on three of the four DSR, when they did not even message me, and the shipping was right. and with in the posted time to ship frame, with accurate, apparently unread item descriptions. If I feel I only sold one item, and now have a 1 star, it is not rocket science, they are blocked. Snide remarks personally and on eat back are grounds for blockage. Harassment and smart remarks on other websites are also grounds for blockage. I do returns, but only for fraud, no buyer regrets. I document with photos all sold items, so to protect myself. Buyers must pay return shipping. I have done a few trade ins with people I know, or feel they got the wrong part. Foreign bidders, Although I was recently able to send a sale to Australia directly, with out Global shipping, ebay has been making me participate in this thing they call, Global shipping. ebay had no longer allowed me to mail directly to foreign countries. They tried to make every one ship to a processing center, I have not control over this or what they charge,I would ship world wide,if possible but must add on the 5% fee to the shipping ebay charges with paypal, and the fee of final value fees on shipping they now charge me. Please ask for an invoice, and we will see what I can do.
