This is a vintage Maytag Model 92 hit and miss engine. The serial number is faint but the number is 262757, which means it was made between January 1st and March 30th, 1928. It is mostly complete, but is missing the exhaust and air intake assembly. It may be missing other things, I do not know, please see the pictures. It looks like the kick start catch broke and was welded at one point, please see the pictures. The engine turns over smoothly and seems to have compression, but I have not tried to start it, and I have not measured the compression. The kick start mechanism works but will need to be lubricated. Overall a nice vintage piece. Sold as is.
