The Royal packs the most power of any Mazzer grinder : a whopping 900 watts that will have the 83mm grinding burrs spinning at a rate of 1050rpm. With over 1 horsepower, the Royal quickly creates a consistent grind for any kind of coffee or espresso. Its virtually infinite grind settings provide you with completely customizable fineness, so you can find the perfect setting to match your machine. The motor and burrs aren’t the only commercial-grade components on the Mazzer Royal. The clear plastic hopper can hold up to 4 lbs of beans and the ground coffee container can hold up to 360 grams (0.8 lbs). The Mazzer Royal also features a convenient doser so you can always use a consistent amount of ground coffee to pull great espresso shots. With 1 pull of the dosing lever, it will dispense a pre-set amount of coffee right into your portafilter. You can set the doser to dispense anywhere between 5.5 and 9 grams of coffee, making it easy to find the perfect combination of grind and quantity. Plus, the Royal can automatically refill the doser after 12 doses have been dispensed, so you can have a continuous supply of freshly ground coffee.
