The No. 14 PitBull upper jaws and control levers are reversible from one side to the other. This allow the machine to be operated from either side. The jaws and clamp knobs can be removed by using a pair of snap ring pliers to release the hinge pins. The McLeroy No. 14 Butt Fusion Machine uses the principles of Clamping, Facing, Aligning, Heating, Joining and Inspecting to create a fusion joint.
