  McGrath Series 5 The McGRATH® Series 5 is designed for difficult airway management and is the world's first and only laryngoscope to feature a variable length blade to support a variety of patients from children to large adults. The latest laryngoscope from Aircraft Medical was developed in response to feedback from customers looking for the ability to totally immerse the existing Series 5 Laryngoscope (which already meets international standards for decontamination) in disinfectant. The new McGRATH Series 5 HLDi (standing for ‘High Level Disinfection Immersible) can be fully immersed in the most stringent chemical decontaminants, and will now withstand the most advanced gas sterilisation techniques. The HLDi shares the same functionality, look and feel as the original Series 5 models, but adds the extra capability of being immersible. Both the immersible product and the earlier Series 5 version are very competitively priced in the marketplace. The new HLDi decontamination standard supports Aircraft Medical’s leading position in addressing infection control as the first company to provide a guaranteed sterile video laryngoscope blade.
