McPherson Model 713 Series Lamp Power Supply For sale- a McPherson Model 713 Series Lamp Power Supply. I am familiar with McPherson monochromators, those I have bought and sold on a regular basis over the years but haven’t seen any pop up in surplus lately. I think I may have one of their old spectrometer or spectrophotometers in the warehouse, but it was cannibalized for parts, so don’t get excited about that. I would assume a lamp power supply would be part of the light source for a similar optical/analytical test instrument, BUT, as you can see the power LED comes on amber and the red FAULT LED is on. And there is no Lamp Current readout. I guess it is possible that without an actual lamp to power it is simply showing that it isn’t hooked up correctly. But to be on the safe side I am going to speculate that this one needs some work. Sold for parts or repair only, no returns accepted. Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment, including a McPherson PMT power supply that I think is in fact functional. Check back often!
