To ensure that your instrument is covered by these warranties, please register it here. > Warranty details >Stethoscopes MDF® stethoscopes with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge for the life of the instrument (excluding the Singularis™ line, which has a two-year warranty). This warranty also includes tubing. >Sphygmomanometers MDF® mercurial and aneroid sphygmomanometers and replacement cuffs with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge when these defects are reported within three years of the original purchase. We also offer a lifetime calibration warranty on MDF® mercurial and aneroid sphygmomanometers. The calibration warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper handling, accidents, failure to follow operating instructions, or alterations made to the device by third parties. Electronic blood pressure units are covered by a two-year warranty against defects in material or craftsmanship, and a two-year calibration warranty. Calibration warranties do not apply to damage caused by improper handling, accidents, failure to follow operating instructions, or alterations made to the device by third parties. >Reflex Hammers MDF® reflex hammers with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge for the life of the instrument. >Illumination instruments MDF penlights are warranted to be free from defects in material or craftsmanship. Penlights with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge as long as the defect is reported within one year of the original purchase. The MDF® 621 LUMiNiX is warranted to be free from defects in material or craftsmanship. LUMiNiXes with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge as long as the defect is reported within two years of the original purchase. MDF® product warranties are non-transferrable. > Returns We will gladly accept returns for items covered by the above warranty policies for repairs or replacement. We are unable to refund any import duties/tariffs, original, or return shipping costs for returns. Non-warranty returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If an RMA (return material authorization) number is not obtained prior to the return, a $5 handling fee will also be applied. To request an RMA, please email customer.service@MDFinstruments.com and include the following information: > Original purchase order/reference number > Customer name > Reason for the RMA request Please write the RMA clearly on the outside of the package before returning the item back to MDF. Please include all original packaging and accessories when returning an item. Returns must be shipped within five business days after the RMA is issued. All returns must be received within 10 business days of the RMA being issued. > Limitations and damages MDF Instruments reserves the right to refuse credit or refund for items not returnable due to health, sanitary, or consumable component issues. The exclusive remedy for any defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. MDF Instruments may elect which remedy or combination of remedies to provide at its sole discretion. MDF Instruments shall have a reasonable time after determining that a defective product exists to repair or replace a defective product. MDF Instruments’s replacement product under its limited warranty will be manufactured from new and serviceable used parts. MDF Instruments’ warranties apply to repaired or replaced products for the balance of the applicable period of the original warranty, or for ninety days from the date of shipment of a repaired or replaced product, whichever is longer. MDF Instruments’s entire liability for any defective product shall in no event exceed the purchase price for the defective product. This limitation applies even if MDF Instruments cannot or does not repair or replace any defective product and the exclusive remedy fails its essential purpose. MDF Instruments has no liability for general, consequential, incidental, or special damages. These include lost profits and the cost of the installation or removal of any products, the installation of replacement products, and any inspection, testing, or redesign caused by any defect or by the repair or replacement of products arising from a defect in any product. In the United States, some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
