Condition: These unmounted quarter wave retarders were purchased new in 2011 and have never been opened.  They remain in their original packaging, as received (see pictures) Quantity:  You are bidding on one unmounted quarter-wave retarder. It changes linearly polarized light to circularly polarized light, when the angle between the input polarization and the retarder fast axis is 45°.
