"Less Bolt" means that the bolt is not included. There are also no keys or pins. These are normally sold only to a professional locksmith for a custom installation. Grade 2 Commercial or Residential Single Cylinder Deadbolt The Medeco 14 Series is a Grade 2 commercial deadbolt that provides an outstanding combination of cylinder options, performance and value. It is the ideal choice for a wide variety of commercial and heavy duty residential applications where consistent quality, ease of use and installation are required. Ideal applications include: home security, office buildings, hospitals, schools, restaurants, apartments and retail outlets. The Medeco 14 Series can be used in conjunction with either the Medeco3 High Security or the BiLevel Key Control cylinders. When offered along side the Medeco Maxum Deadbolt, it provides end users a choice to select from these options of smart deadbolt solutions. Certification: ANSI A156.5 Auxiliary Locks, Grade 2 Underwriters Laboratories (UL and cUL) listed for use on A label or lesser doors when used in conjunction with a rated primary latching device Features: Two-piece housing, with free spinning outer ring to prevent wrenching Deadbolt:1" throw with hardened, free spinning, steel pin insert Backset:Adjustable in 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset. 2-3/4" fixed backset also available. Handing:Non-handed Deadbolt Fronts:2-1/4" x 1" standard for 2-3/8" backset • 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" standard for 2-3/4" backset Door Thickness: Fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick Strikes: 2-3/4" x 1-1/8" reinforced strike plate Function: Single Cylinder Deadbolt – Deadbolt thrown or retracted by key on the outside or by inside turn unit.
