MEDIHONEY Calcium Non-Adhesive Alginate Dressing 4" x 5"  this is a set of 4  These unique honey dressings have properties which are beneficial throughout all phases of wound healing Effective in the management of wounds and burns Ideal for moderately to heavily exuding wounds Helps wounds that have stalled under first-line treatment to progress towards healing Maintains a moist environment conducive to wound healing and assists in autolytic debridement High osmotic potential and low pH Contains 95% Active Leptospermum Honey Honey impregnated into a calcium alginate dressing As wound fluid enters the dressing, the honey is released while the dressing absorbs and forms a gel Used in the same fashion as typical calcium alginate or other gelling fiber dressing Latex-Free expiration 5/15
