EP Medsystems / St. Judes Medical EP-Workmate EP-4 Computerized Electrophysiology Recording System Computer - 3 Monitors - Manuals - Patient Interface Cables - Bloom DTU-215 Stimulator - Signal Conditioner - Cables - Cart ~Scroll Down for Additional Pictures~ This computerized electrophysiology system was recently surplused out from a San Fransisco area hospital. It looks complete and comes set up on the original cart with all cables intact. I plugged in the main power cord and everything powers on and boots up as it should. The computer has the software loaded and the touch screen monitor navigates the software properly. According to the tags on the included manuals this system is dated 2005-2006. Several of the components have manufacture dates of 2008 and 2010. I believe this is a working system but there are a ton of high end parts here if you need them. This system weighs 466 lbs and will require freight shipping. To give you some idea it will cost approximately $225.00 for west coast locations and approximately $400.00 for east coast locations. Manfuactures Description from the User's Guide- The EP-WorkMate is a fully computerized system for capturing and measuring physiological data in the clinical electrophysiology laboratory. It provides digital signal acquisition and display of those electrical signals on high resolution monitors. An Electrophysiology system is used to monitor and analyze surface ECGs and intra-cardiac signals. Catheters are guided into the heart and intra-cardiac electrical signals are aquired from the electrodes on the indwelling catheters from various heart locations. These signals are then used to measure irregular cardiac electrical activity that may occur in the heart. A Cardiac stimulator is used to send an electrical pulse via a catheter to the heart. These electrical pulses are called pacing protocols. Paciing protocols are performed in order to reproduce any life threatening arrhythmias under the safest possible conditions for the patient. Treatment of an arrhythmia is then initiated with radio frequency ablations, drug therapy, or placement of cardiac devices that will control the heart's rhythm. The system is also intended for recording electrocardiograms from multiple sites during clinical assessment of electrophysiological interventions. The EP-WorkMate provides on-line measurements of intra-channel intervals, and presents these measurements on the display monitor. Retrieval and display are provided without interruption of the multi-channel acquisition process. A magneto-optical (MO) disk drive is used for archival strorage of digitized data. CONDITION This system was recently surplused out from a west coast hospital. I believe it is working or can be made to work condition. it is the entire system to include all original components and several additional accessories. Everything came mounted to the cart and already connected together. I plugged it in and it quickly powered up and appears ready to use. I was able to navigate the software using the touch screen monitor without any error codes. The two large monitors are working however both have scratches in the screen surface. There is some sign of overall use the various components but I dont see any actual damage other than the scratches on the monitor screen. It looks like all the basic cabling is included.
