Megger Null Balance Earth Tester Model 250220-2 w/ Leads Available for sale is a AVO Biddle Instruments Model 250220-2 Megger Null Balance Earth Tester.  This unit is a hand cranked generator type tester with decade resistance bank, multiplier switch and null balance meter.  The resistance range covers 0.01 to 9999 ohms.  This tester is used to measure ground resistance by applying a test current through an earth electrode which returns through the soil and a remote current terminal.  The potential between the earth electrode and remote potential terminal is observed and balanced against an equal potential in the earth tester.  When a null condition is achieved (as shown on the balance meter), the ohms displayed on the decade switch bank is the earth electrode resistance.  Includes manuals and test leads as shown.  Excellent condition, tested working.  Ever wonder if that ground rod next to your transformer, tower or antenna is really ground?  This meter will confirm it.
