This is a used Meplamat 1500 hinge boring and insertion machine. The machine has a six spindle gearbox for either boring the cup and attachment screw holds for cup hinges, or line boring three holes in a row. The spindles are 10mm in diameter and three drill bit holders are included (which hold 10mm shank drill bits). The Meplamat 1500 has dual pneumatic hold downs connected to a pressure bar to hold the door in place for drilling or insertion. Twin safety switches are used to start the drilling (or insertion) cycle. At the end of the drill cycle the head retracts, but the hold downs stay in place until the red cutoff switch is actuated. Accessories included are:  - three drill holders (for 10mm shank drill bits)  - primary fence  - wooden work surface  - a centering fence that moves the fence pieces equal amounts when the hand wheel is turned (visible laying on top of the work table in the photos)  - twin extension rails that will work with the centering fence to extend from 7" to 32" on each side of the boring machine  - two hinge insertion rams The machine is wired for 220VAC, single phase. There is some surface rust on the sheet metal "shelves" on either side of the drilling head and on the hold down arms - nothing that interferes with the operation of the press. I have listed this as "Freight" shipment, but Local Pickup is available or I can disassemble the unit and ship in two boxes. Email me for details.
