CONDITION This media converter set was purchased new for use in a clean room laboratory environment. It has been used less than 10 hours and is in perfect condition. Prior to listing it was tested to verify optical signal strength and functions perfectly. DESCRIPTION The SXA/SXB-1R-5 (1-slot rack-mount cards) are Media converters designed for bi-directional transmission of 10Base-T Ethernet / 100Base-T Fast Ethernet data over one singlemode fiber. Auto-negotiation eliminates the need for any internal adjustments or settings. Distances of 50km can be obtained using singlemode fiber. These cards are environmentally hardened and will operate over the standard NEMA TS-2 temperature range – suitable for outdoor installations. LED's on the card indicate the status of power, link speed, activity, laser current and optical signal. Standard shielded RJ-45 connectors are provided for CAT5 compatibility. Optical connector on this unit is ST. These cards are also compatible with Meridian’s SpectraSmart network monitoring software when housed in the diagnostic chassis.
