This auction is for (1) Metcal Oki STSS-001 Soldering System (no stand included we used the STSS-SW1E to lay the pen against just as seen in the pictures and a hand held cleaning coil to clean tip after use, workbench space is tight), New Cleaning Coil Included, w/ a STSS-SW1E Single to Dual port converter so you can run two tools without having to disconnect the other tool. The front LED works sporadically It Has Nothing To Due With Units Working Condition. In fact we bought 4 units before we got one with the lite front LED, before that we were unaware they had such a feature. The Main Unit Is In Beautiful Condition, I really do not know why we are phasing it out other than repair orders have slowed down. We ran a MX-RM3E soldering pen and Talon Tweezers on each system we have, so we were able to use our Single Port (STSS-002 and STSS-001) as Dual Port, Like our MX-500P-11's. The rest of the lot consists of (16) Used Tested Tips (Mostly: 199, 117, 136,137,126, Large selection to choose from). (2) New Talon TATC Tips and (2) New SMTC/STSS Tips. The STSS-SW1E can also be used on the MX-1 series dual port tower changing it into a 3 port unit so you may have the MX-RM3E Solder pen, Talons system and De-soldering gun all hooked up at once. The tips in the picture are just to show that you may store extra tools in the unit while not in use, the tips in the picture are for display and are not included in the auction. Sometimes the STSS-SW1E can be very sensitive since it is part of the Metcal/Oki "Smart Heat" technology, so if you get and amber light, the Tip Usually Just Needs To Be Re-Seated or Turned Around While In Tool. As with all our equipment we go beyond EBay's 14 day return policy and give a 30-day parts warranty on all equipment we sell, that is how sure our products are the quality that you deserve. We require correspondence with any issues you may have before leaving feedback. In most cases we are happy to replace or refund you for the equipment if you have not used it for a long period of time, to get a job done, then want to get a refund once your purpose purchasing has been accomplished. Also we are in a rural area and the Postal carrier will sometime not show because of things like "black rain" which may cause a delay minor delay in shipping, we will keep you abreast of any such situations and do as you wish.
