You are considering an Meteor Coil Winder / Winding Machine. This machine is used and is in fair overall condition. It is dirty from the process it was used for and has several scratches, scuffs, etc. from use. We have powered up this machine here and it seems to operate fine. However, we don't have any knowledge of coil winding and the machine has not been tested under working conditions. Machine is being sold AS IS. It looks like the original controls were upgraded. The control box has a digital wrap counter with reset button. There is a Start and Stop button with separate E-Stop. There are also speed controls on the box and a Warner Brake/Clutch control mounted to the top. There is a tag on the back of the machine that says: Meteor Type 307-101A Insp: 101757 Made in Switzerland. The side cover on the machine says Amacoil, but there are no other tags, model number etc., that seem to have anything to do with the Amacoil brand?? This machine was purchased from the Peavey Manufacturing facility in Meridian, MS. The tag on the machine states that it was used for winding the voice coils for the Peavey Black Widow Series speakers. We received several items with this machine related to the process: Qty. 58, 3-15/16"" OD X 3-1/4" Long "Spools" (not sure what these items are called). Qty. 54, Steel 4" ID X 5" OD X 2" thick "Rings". Qty. 40, Steel 3-15/16" ID X 3/8" Thick "Spacer Rings" Qty. 24 "Metal Trays" These parts may be proprietary to Peaveys operation and may be useless for anything else. We are including them with the machine because they came with it. However, if you do not want them just let us know and we will figure the freight accordingly.
