The shelf's open wire design permits air to circulate in the work environment, and resists dust build-up. The wire ribs on the shelf's surface run from front to back to facilitate sliding items on and off the shelf. Plastic split sleeves help secure the shelf to the shelving posts (sold separately). This wire shelf has a 600 lb. load capacity when evenly distributed across the shelf, and comes in a pack of two shelves.
