Mettler Applicator 223 The Mettler Applicator 223 (AP223) (#6012) is a two-ball firm rubber applicator used to straddle the spinal column and work muscles on either side without touching bony protrusions of the column. This applicator can also be used for deep massage of large muscle groups in select areas. It is also well-adapted for manipulation of the smaller joints, because the balls can be worked into the flesh while the oval plate connecting the balls is high enough to override intervening bony structures.
