Mettler H35 high precision balance This high precision balance has a capacity of 160g and a precision of 0.1 mg. There are two knobs on the front for setting tens of grams and grams, and a knob on the side for fine adjustment. Also on the front are a T/I knob and a knob for putting the unit into standby. A pair of zeroing knobs are at the top. On the back are several knobs for adjusting the focus and positioning of the light source. Turning the knobs causes the internal mechanism to manipulate the weighted rings correctly, but the number display wheels don't move on the external display. Also, the internal light bulb doesn't turn on despite not appearing to be burned out. The unit is therefore not currently usable, and it's not clear exactly what is wrong with it or how much work it would require to fix. The unit's shipping locks have been engaged.
