I purchased this unit from an independent testing lab that bought it in anticipation of getting a major contract with a local beverage manufacturer. The contract did not materialize, they also recently lost another major contract and have been forced to sell off some of their assets no longer in use. As such unit has never been used. Obviously I can't call it new but the only use it has gotten was when it was serviced, tested and calibrated. This DL22 was serviced by a factory rep. in November 2014. The drive was certified all electronics tested and calibrated. The unit is 100% operational and in as new condition inside and out. The stirrer has one blade broken but functions perfectly. Suction and discharge tubes are new Stopcock is new as well The burette was just a toss in and is not certified. I will start the bidding low and trust the eBay community to place the appropriate value on the excellent piece. Everywhere pH is important for controlling certain steps in production: Measure pH in fruit juice, wine, milk, cheese. The right concentration of acids is one of the many parameters that can be easily monitored: Acid content (aqueous) in fruit juice, wine, cereals, salad dressing, soft drinks, condiments. Fresh water is involved in almost every process: Total hardness of water, p&m values of water (alkalinity), pH, chloride content. The determination of sulfur dioxide is veryimportant because its antiseptic and antioxidantactivity is only achieved if the free sulfurdioxide content is at a certain level… but a concentration of SO2 that is too high, causes headaches -> determination of SO2 in wine.
