Manufacturer's Description: The LV11 Automatic Feeder from Mettler-Toledo provides constant automatic monitoring — item by item. Capsules, tablets, or small electronic and mechanical components are fed to the balance quickly by the LV11 automatic feeder. Large weighing series are radically simplified. The LV11 is therefore especially suitable for statistical quality control (SQC) in the pharmaceutical industry. Automatically controlled feeding A photocell gate monitors the items passing through and interrupts the flow after each piece. If the weight value determined by the balance is valid, feeding is restarted. If required, at the end of a defined sample the automatic feeder empties itself. Adjustable flow speed The LV11 is started and controlled from the keyboard or via the interface. Depending on the size, quality, or shape of the items, the vibration intensity, and therefore the flow speed, can be optimized at one of four levels. Easily visible LEDs indicate the selected level. Reliable data communication Bidirectional RS232 or LocalCAN interfaces ensure trouble-free data transfer to your computer or weighing system.
