I posted some high mb photos - please zoom in and take a close look at this Great Mettler Toledo Mettler Toledo PB1502-S precision scale I rate this scale in good to very good condition. Cosmetically there is some evidence of scotch tape on it, and on the top back left a few scratches which can easily be ‘touched’ up if desired. The 7inch round stainless steel top plate is in very good condition. The 5 touch controls only require a quick light touch to register. The display is bright and when pushing the buttons the response is instant (changing display). I leveled it and weighed a ‘known weight dime (2.28gm) which is what it registered in the center of the tray, and along the outside edge area at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 clock positions. If you are unfamiliar with this ISO 9001/14001 scale you can download the manual online at Mettler Toledo. This is a very sensitive high precision expensive scale. I quickly went through the manual and then proceeded to do some of the functions shown to verify this equipment is functioning properly. I did these functions which worked perfectly: -- all 5 touch sensor worked quickly with only a ‘light’ touch needed (on/off, cal/menu, O/T, F) -- ’Tare Weight’ – creating a negative weight of a container so that scale reads 0 with the container on the scale allowing to weigh only what is added to the container -- 0 balance -- access menu -- change settings -- abort -- reset to factory settings (done) -- changed menu option ‘unit 1’ from gram to oz and ‘stored’ it (there are many weight classification options but I believe they are limited to ISO approved ‘measures’); I then switched it back to g and stored that – both of these functions worked perfectly and smoothly -- accessed menu options and changed ‘unit 2’ from gram to oz and stored - while using the scale I can now tap the switch/changes settings button (2 ‘circular arrows) and the display will change to oz, hit again and back to g (unit 1) From everything that I can do/see this scale works great! If your need is scientific, precious metals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, etc… this scale will measure from 0.01g to 1510.00g.
