It's designed to attach both the gas line and beer hose. This coupler fits most craft breweries as well as top brands like Anheuser-Busch, Miller, Molson-Coors, and Labatt. Meanwhile, the tin-nickel plated probe does not chip like chrome and can resist chemicals. The coupler's short handle fits well with the smaller diameter 1/6 kegs. The coupler taps the keg by connecting to the keg valve. The fork handle has stainless steel too, which adds strength to it. The draft beer keg coupler, called the "D" system, is the go-to for most US breweries. Notably, the stainless steel body improves durability with resistance to chemicals. It's also referred to as the American Sankey.
