The PRO MATE II device programmer tool allows development engineers to program user software into Microchip Technology’s entire line of PICmicro® microcontrollers (MCU), HCS Security Products, and 2- and 3-wire serial EEPROM products. The PRO MATE II device programmer is easy to use and operates either as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with a PC-compatible host system. When connected to a host system, PRO MATE II provides an exceptionally user-friendly interface to give the developer complete control over the programming session. This time-saving tool comes complete with all the accessories needed to connect to a host system, including interface cables and a universal input power supply. In addition to the programmer unit, the PRO MATE II system contains Microchip’s highly-acclaimed MPLAB®Integrated Development Environment (IDE), with its built-in editor, assembler, and Windows®-based MPLAB-SIM simulator. The PRO MATE II programmer includes full documentation and software. PRO MATE II is CE compliant, meaning it meets or exceeds all the directives for safety, emissions, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and susceptibility (to radiated emission) requirements set forth by the European Union (EU) countries. The PRO MATE II device programmer is designed to be robust and reliable, with enhanced socket module alignment with four auto alignment pins, three levels of over-current protection and superior ESD immunity for rugged environments, a small and compact universal IEC power supply, and improved LCD display and buttons.
