Exclusive design features considerably reduce the mass required to be accelerated during sectioning resulting in comfortable working force generated by larger muscle/joint combinations virtually eliminating stress to the hand, wrist and forearm. The Ergostar HM 200 microtome uses a vertical cutting stroke common to all rotary microtomes engaged by a horizontal sliding movement. An operating arm replaces the handwheel and is attached to both sides of the instrument for greater convenience to permit control of sectioning from the left or right. Functional Condition: This asset has been tested and has the following issue: The unit powers on, but it does not respond to any function. All lights but the trim light turn on.
