This Brand New Regulator is without original box, but will be packaged to avoid any damages in shipping. The High Pressure Gauge displays the pressure in the tank and the Low Pressure Gauge(0-60 PSI) shows the line pressure. The Guard helps protect the gauges and regulator should the top-heavy cylinder fall, which often occurs if the cylinder is not secured. Any change in the CO2 level will alter the taste and appearance of the beer. Most U.S. breweries recommend a CO2 pressure of 12-14 lbs for Ale and Lager draft beers. This CO2 pressure will maintain the carbonation specified by the brewery. An under pressurized draft beer causes the CO2 dissolved in the beer to “break out” of the beer early when poured and results in foamy beer or flat beer.
