There are liability issues regarding the use or improper use of an autoclave in the medical practice. The M9 Ultraclave meets and exceeds these standard parameters of time, pressure and temperature necessary to kill microorganisims by utilizing saturated steam under pressure. The 9" x 15" inch stainless steel chamber is roomy and adequate for most busy clinics. It couldn't be easier to use with many features that are very obvious to the person in charge of sterilization and spore test results. The M9 is an American made product that has been in production since the early 1990's and is still made in Versaille, OH USA. The unit has gone through numerous improvements and upgrades since it's inception. The newest version offers a motor driven door switch and a newly improved CPU board along with an improved optional printer. Benifits of the M9 Autoclave include: The exclusive automatic-opening door serves to assist in the drying cycle by complete venting of steam from the sterlizing chamber. If water needs to be added, it can be done so easily while monitoring the convenient level indicator located right up front for inspection at a glance. And when periodic maintenance is needed the user can drain the M9 Autoclave by simply disconnecting the indicator hose and draining the water into a suitable container. The Steam Flush Pressure Pulse Air Removal System ensures proper steam penetration. The M9 Ultraclave has four defined cycles of unwrapped, pouches, packs and handpieces. These four cycles easily cover over 98% of sterilizing requirements. There is also the ability to create and store customs cycles with the self program controls. This will enable the operator to have the flexibility to create special cycle parameters to meet specific instrument processing needs such as glassware, liquids and other media. The Autoclave is has a bright LCD Display for easy view of indicators will give an automatic warning any time a sterilization cycle is interrupted. This could be due to an operator action or momentary power failure, but will result in a highly visible message that automatically warns the operator that items inside the chamber are not sterile.
