An informative discussion on the types of cams, how they are cut, and the setups necessary for cutting them complete this section. HINTS AND SPECIAL FEATURES . . . . . pages 88 to 99 Here are good sound practices to follow so errors can be avoided in indexing and spiral work. Also given careful consideration is tle effect of changing the inclination of the index-head spindle. Small index heads, wide-range and astronomical dividers, and hypoid-bevel-gear universal index heads complete this section.
