This LIKE NEW Mimaki JV400LX-160 64" wide format printer, just installed on December 12, 2014, features Mimaki's new line of latex inks... LX101 set up in a double CMYK format.  Latex ink is the new "green" option for outdoor durable graphics. Latex ink fixes pigment to the media because resin contained in the ink dissolves with heat, forming a membrane. Latex inks can be outputted onto PVC film, banner material, backlit films and almost any media currently used in eco-solvent machines. Latex inks also work well on uncoated media such as paper, and textiles. Latex inks also require NO DRYING TIME for IMMEDIATE POST PROCESSING.  This printer features Ricoh Gen 5 industrial print heads, up to 1200x1200 dpi resolution using variable drop technology and down to 4 picoliter drop sizes for fine detail printing, a roll media take up device, a 3 way intelligent heater and print dryer. The printer measures 113.3"w x 33.6"d x 56.5"h, weighs 509lbs and requires (2) 120v power supplies (one for printer, one for print dryer) This printer sells for $25,500 brand new not including delivery, installation or ink. You get all the ink that is currently loaded (8 - 600ml cartridges) into the printer as well as all the supplies that were included when it was delivered. Includes Mimaki Rasterlink 6 RIP software.
