For sale is a Minearscope 500 that works. The stethoscope attachment that originally came with - would make it easier to use, and perhaps something could be rigged-up. But the end-fitting on it is shaped/made for the ear. I purchased at a flea market, and it didn't work - battery corroded. Purchased a CR 1/3N lithium battery on ebay, wrapped it with tape to build-up the fit, and voila! - amplified sound!       Selling as-is, with my $4 battery included.
