Analog DC Panel Meter Edge-View with mounting clip This is an edge-view DC analog moving magnet meter with a custom meter face from manufacturer’s obsolete inventory. Never used. It is a rugged little meter. This meter was used in an application which subjected the meter to a lot of handling, vibration, dirt and grim and they survived with amazing success. The physical resting position of the dial indicator is at the left as seen in the photos. Great meter for the hobbyist or engineer looking for an edge-view meter with small mounting dimensions. The meter mounts easily into a small rectangular hole using a single brass snap-on mounting clip as seen in the photo. Electrical Specifications: 1mA full scale, 0.5mA at 1/2 scale (“0”) center indicator. Linear movement 2.7K ohm resistance coil Add an appropriate shunt across the terminals to display higher currents. Physical Appearance: Custom face with “-“ on left, “0” center, & “+” on right. Indicator moves left-to-right Physical Specifications: Face = 0.7” x 1.375”, bumps out to 0.32” Mounting hole = 0.6” x 1.25” Meter dept = 1.2” Face extends 0.4” Brass mounting clip included Mounting depth is 1.25”, plus the length of the 2 electrical terminations Solder tab type of electrical terminations Calibration Tab: The meter has a small mechanical adjustment tab that is used to re-calibrate the meter. Use a non-magnetic or plastic tool for adjustment. Note: Magnetic materials can influence the accuracy of the meter. Steel panels may affect accuracy. Aluminum or plastic cases or panels are best. Please Note: Each and every meter is tested for Full & Half Scale current prior to shipment. We sold 100's of these as part of a product without one failure.  Meter Dial Face: On occasion I receive questions asking about access to the dial face. In reply, the meter case consists of a clear plastic top & bottom which are basically held together by the coil winding. The case may be glued as well, but I haven't investigated it that closely. You would have to unwind the coil to get at the meter dial face. NOTE: If you have an interest in more of these, please contact me before bidding - I have over 50 meters in stock.
