This is a Mita Kyocera Ai1515F MFP (multi-function printer) black & white only. It is a network printer (both today's standard 10-base-T ethernet and old fashioned 10-Base-2 coax), a copier, and a fax machine. I bought it brand new in 2000 for about $10,000. I retired it in 2009 and it has been in a closet ever since. It has an auto sheet-feeder on top, two 250-sheet paper trays, and a multi-function sheet feeder tray for oddball sizes and envelopes. For those who know this machine intimately, it has the ST-500, print system C, NB-2 network board, 8 MB of copy memory, and the stand. Max speed is 15ppm. I just fired it up yesterday and made a copy from the bottom tray and the multi-function sheet feeder tray. The upper tray reported a jam; I did not investigate further. Comes with a new toner cartridge. I have many more pictures and all the manuals. I have complete service records; it was inspected monthly for the years it was in service. It now has 289,823 impressions. Back in 2009 it started wrinkling paper and the technician told us it needed a new heat roller, press roller, and four sep claws (separator claws), despite having just had the heat roller replaced 10,000 impressions previous. They were having problems sourcing one of those parts (I don't remember which), so we retired the machine and got a replacement. Just the same, it seems to work (other than the upper tray feeder), but maybe I just got lucky. Although it seems to work just fine, I'm selling as-is, no warranty. I suggest buying it for parts only. I may be willing to part it out if I can't sell entire unit at once; send me a message. [NOTE: I found a reseller of parts for this machine and they are very inexpensive so it could likely be repaired for under $90]. I got a quote to ship this across the country from FedEx Ground for $143 and I've heard there are people who will ship these across the country for $150 (but I'm not a regular shipper, so don't take my word for it). Heat roller was just replaced in on 4/27/2007 (as per above) along with the thermistor which regulates how hot that gets so it is strange it would need a heat roller again so soon [perhaps just the press roller was needed and heat roller is fine?].
