Mitsui (now MAM-A) Gold CDR's 10-Pack 80 Min Digital Audio CD-R's Bulk, No logo For use with consumer/digital audio recorders (Philips, Harmon Kardon, Marantz, TDK, Pioneer, Sony, Etc. These are the recorders that typically attach to stereo components. Mitsui or as they are now called MAM-A (Mitsui Advanced Media), is a top of the line media, and one of the first on the market. Excellent quality. These are the gold (phalocyanine) dye which is highly recommended for any recording. These have the platinum/silver reflective layer, and also feature the Diamond Coat protective top that is patented by Mitsui. The MAM Digital Audio CD-Rs are write-once, audio-only discs designed specifically for use in home audio systems. Consumers can create and archive custom CDs, up to 80 minutes of their favorite professional originals that will be fully compatible with the worldwide installed base of 600 million CD players. MAM Digital Audio CD-R for Consumers are manufactured with patented Phthalocyanine (gold) dye, providing the long life you are guaranteed from MAM, while also delivering a level of warmth in sound reproduction that is second to none. The MAM Digital Audio CD-R is compatible with Serial Copy Management System (SCMS). If you are tired of having your recordings skip, pop, or otherwise sound like crap, then it's time to try some really good CD's. Any time you hear crackling and popping and skipping on your CD's, you can usually attribute it to cheap media. Try Mitsui and you won't be sorry. They are much more durable than the cheap stuff, too. They don't scratch as easily. They are just awesome! The CD's are plain silver on top, no branding on the surface.
