BRAND NEW Mitutoyo, part# 570-314, Digimatic Height Gauge The box has been opened to inspect item and to take pictures. The item is brand new and has never even had the battery installed yet. The plastic cap at the top of the measure beam has broken off. This piece has no function other than to act as a "stop" for the measurement box so you do not raise it too high and off of the beam. It is EASILY replaced with 2 screws. The new plastic piece can be easily obtained from the manufacturer for very cheap (if you even must have it). It is called the Head Cover and it is part# 05HAA702. It is $7.15 and can be purchased from testequipmentusa.com or newark.com.
