Here is a Mitutoyo No. 103-222 6" to 7" carbide tipped outside micrometer. This micrometer has been used so you will find some minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. Some of these imperfections include the original owner lightly scribed 01 on the front side of this micrometer. I point out two spots that the paint has imperfections. (See the 3rd and 4th photos) Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice barely used micrometer. The thimble moves easily without any hesitations, the lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. The carbide faces look like mirrors. This is demonstrated by reflection of the dollar. The wooden protective case has done a very good job of protecting these tools. It has suffered some scratches and scuffs from doing its job. It opens and closes easily, latches shut, and holds these tools securely. It will continue to protect them for many years to come. This Japanese made micrometer is ready to go back to work and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
