Here is a Mitutoyo No. 7010 magnetic base with a Starrett No. 81-141 .250" dial indicator that are in good used condition. These tools have worked very well together. They have been used so you will find many scratches, scuffs, and a ding or two from normal use. Mitutoyo magnetic base has been polished up to bring it back to the very good condition it is in very. It "sticks" solidly to any flat steel surface. Everything slides around easily and locks down tight wherever you want it to. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily with just a turn of the lever. The Starrett .250" dial indicator moves easily without any hesitations. Smooth! There is a slight problem with this indicator. It does not have a clear plastic lens. Plus, some red paint has been splattered on it. Please don't let these flaws detract from what is otherwise a very nice set of tools.This set up has a vertical reach of 17" and a horizontal reach of approximately 8 1/2". This American made indicator and Japanese made magnetic base are both ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision tool box.
