Here is a Mitutoyo No. 7024 magnetic base with a Starrett No. 196 dial indicator set that are in very good condition. They have been used so you will find some scratches, scuffs, and a ding or two from normal use. The Mitutoyo magnetic base is in very good condition. It "sticks" solidly to any flat steel surface. The fine adjustment feature helps make setting these tools up a breeze. The magnet lifts off easily with just a turn of the lever. The Starrett dial indicator set is also in very good condition. The attachments in this set let you set up these tools in a variety of different ways. The dial indicator moves easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The clear plastic lens is crystal clear because I just replaced it. The biggest flaws would be is that the two posts have some marks on the from use. Everything else works and looks great. All of these tools are kept in its own red protective case. It has done a very good job of protecting these tools. It has scratches, scuffs, and other cosmetic imperfections from doing its job. It opens and closes easily, latches shut, and holds everything securely. It will continue to protect your tools for many years to come. This set up has a vertical reach of 8" and a horizontal reach of approximately 4 1/2". It fits great into those spots those larger magnetic bases just won't fit into.
